He threw up when I got my period during sex

This guy I'm seeing was over and we were having sex. I guess I got my period in the middle of sex and when he saw the blood on his dick he started gagging and ran to his bathroom to throw up. I never felt so disgusted with myself. He told me it's not just my period and he gets very grossed out by blood in general and that the same thing happened when he watched Grey's Anatomy with his sister. He did just close his eyes and ball up the sheets and throw them in the wash. After he put new sheets on the bed he asked if I wanted him to order me something from gopuff. I said no but he ordered me ice cream anyway. He was being sweet about it. I guess I just still feel kind of self conscious.
