Breastfeeding and choking

Hi! FTM HERE!! So I had a question regarding if this is normal for newborns. She is 3 weeks old and when I breastfeed sometimes she starts to gag and choke after a few minutes. After, she returns to feeding but it’s scary seeing her to this. Is this normal with newborns? Like, are they suppose to choke on milk when breastfeeding. Am I not holding her correctly? She’s not wheezing or grunting or anything of that nature. She’s just feeding and choking after a few minutes. It’s not every time either.
