Get out of flying?

I'm a terrible person, but how could I get out of flying on an already booked flight? I need it to look like I didn't mean to because my husband can't know I did it intentionally...

Why do you want to get out of it?  I'd just tell him the truth. 
If you're afraid, you can get counselling to help you overcome your fears. One of our managers here has a terrible fear of flying but she did a course to manage it... she still doesn't like it but can tolerate it. You can also ask your Dr to prescribed you something for your anxiety to help you cope.
Best not to lie though especially to your husband!

Doctors will give you anxiety meds for your flight. I wouldn't lie.

But...if you're going to anyway (although I don't advise these)

1. Get arrested 
2. Get kidnapped
3. Hit your head where you get amnesia

Not sure I can give any advice further (than to just be truthful) if I don't know why you need to find an excuse.  Why do u think your a terrible person?!!!! I'm not sure that's completely true!

Tell your doctor you have a crazy fear of flying. He will prescribe some pills for you. I don't take anything but I was in a plane a few months back that nearly stalled. The phone was right beside the bathroom and I could hear the whole conversation between her and the pilot. They thought it was about to stall, the plane was doing putt putt noises and was dipping up and down. Then something kicked in and started working.
Being afraid is natural.  But don't let it stop you.
