Ear infections

When should I see a doctor about an ear infection? I'm very sure it is an infection because I had one maybe a year or less ago and I'm having the same symptoms. Neck is swollen, jaw is swollen, I can feel it in my tongue, sometimes my eye feels swollen, ear pain is awful, lymph nodes swollen for sure, sore throat for a couple days, general sickness feeling, congestion. I started using tea tree oil but it only helps a tiny bit for a little while. Also feeling dizzy/lightheaded. Last time I had an ear infection it was severe and bilateral. Seeing a doctor costs more than I have right now. Should I go to the hospital or just wait?
