My son is starting public school this year he is highly allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. I am so worried that something is going to happen. They will have epi pen but has to stay with nurse. What if they dont get to him in time. Or notice in time. What if they are on playground and he just sits down they think nothing of it and really he cant breath. What if they let kids still eat nuts around him and someone has peanut butter on them. I dont know what to do i am going to make a plan with the school but really is it enough. 1 in 13 kids have a food allergy. Why is food more important then these kids lives. Anyone else have any experience or advice?
