FMU storage?

I know I should probably ask this in a ttc group but we're not actually ttc, also not preventing but also my body is still coming back from depo shots so we're not actually expecting to get pregnant..

Anyways...

I am having some symptoms that were indicative of my pregnancy the first time. But I'm also not really well, so it could be that. I've been sick the last 2 weeks and am going back to the doctor tomorrow.

I wanted to do a pregnancy test before I go to the doctor, but I have none in the house, can I keep my FMU, like in a jar or anything until I've bought a test?

Should I keep it in room temperature or in the fridge?
