Possible trigger warning: 
Can pregnancy tests be wrong? I swear I’m pregnant (having all the symptoms) and my period was late by a week and then I only bled for 2 days which is not normal for me. 
Can I just want to be pregnant so bad that my mind and body are playing tricks with me? This is driving me crazy lol.

It IS possible to not build up enough HCG for a positive test for up to a couple weeks post expected period. But it is also possible you had an off cycle. Early pregnancy symptoms and period symptoms ate mostly the same due to progesterone.

Yep, that's your mind. If you're getting a negative test and you bled, you're not pregnant. False negatives are more rare, I'd say, than false positives (since evap, medications can cause that).
