I went to school when I had my first (he was almost 1) and graduated a year later while pregnant with my second. Didn’t get to start working in the field of choice. But a year of school with toddler and pregnant wasn’t bad tbh.

I'm chronically ill so it was a no brainer to be a stay at home parent. BUT I'm bored AF now that my kids can take care of themselves so I'm working on getting certified to be a Doula. I'm very fortunate to be able to do whatever I want and not worry about finances now, it wasn't always that way and we struggled the first few years of starting our family. But honestly I wouldn't trade it for anything else, even our struggles. The absence of the light is a necessary part as Jason Mraz said
