Money gap

Karen

I need some advice; please don’t judge.

So my now husband makes more money than me, around 80K+ a year, he has 3 kids and I make less than 30k a year. Last year because of COVID I quit my job and I started doing doordash, Instacart, etc and helped him with the kids activities since I was “available”. I pay for the groceries for us and the kids and contribute to half of the bills; not to mention I make my own car payment, personal expenses, pay for whatever I need or want like going out and spoiled him or his kids whenever I can. Today he “complained” about i don’t contribute to the mortgage; he got this house before we got married and and not to mention back then we were kinda separated, I explained to him this is his house no matter what and I also contribute as much as I possibly can.

So how you guys managed income/expenses when it comes to income gap 😩
