How did your first born react to your second?

I'm pregnant and here lately I've been feeling really guilty about having a second. I think mainly because my toddler is very attached to me and I'm not sure how they will react to the new baby. Also how was balancing a new baby and toddler? Did you need help or were you able to do it on your own pretty well.

Feeling the same as you. Worried and guilty for taking my undivided attention from my son. No advice for you though, I’m due in December just after my son’s second birthday.

At first he asked if we could bring him back to the doctors where we got him. He also said to put him back in my belly. They get along for the most part but sometimes big brother says little brother is weird.

My first was 4 when I had my second, and she was great about it, a little clingy to me the first couple weeks. But very helpful with her sister she wanted to help with tummy time and would try and get her to calm down while I made bottles.
