Which breast pump?

Hi All. New mum to be here. I'm planning to breastfeed but also want to express so partner can do feeds too (this may be wishful thinking I know)
Which breast pumps would you recommend? I've been considering an electric one but don't want to spend a fortune. Has anyone tried any of the non main brand ones on amazon?
Would really appreciate any advice!

Call your health insurance they most likely will cover most if not all cost for select electric pumps. The pump I recommend was coveted by my insurance completely ( I don't even have great insurance) and I have the most basic plan

I live in Canada and these are hard to get shipped here but I splurged the extra money and bought one. I’ve tried medela and mine crapped up after three months and honestly did nothing to help my supply or increase it. I feel like my spectra is helping and I’m also able to pump more Milk when I use it. It’s a closed system as well so don’t expect milk to seep into it, it’s more hygienic as well. If you want one that is rechargeable, go with the S1 (the blue one) that’s the only difference between this and the second
