C reactive proteins and Sedimentarion test?

Are there any doctors on here that can help understand the C reactive protein and Sedimentation blood test? My doctor ordered them to look for a dormant infection so I’m not asking for a diagnosis just how to like understand it. If it’s low numbers like less than the average does that indicate something good or bad?

Like the other post mentioned those test look for inflammation in the body so it’s concerning when the levels are high.

I'm pretty sure there is no low level for these types of tests. High levels can indicate inflammation somewhere in the body. That doesn't really give much information. I would guess they are specifically looking for inflammation for a reason and this will help diagnose or they will need to do additional testing.
