intermittent fasting.. have you tried it?

Has anyone here tried intermittent fasting? Did it work for you? How much weight did you lose? I have been intermittent fasting for 4 months now and it has helped me to lose 25lbs in  3 months.... and then all of a sudden I haven't lost anything else in 4 weeks...... any suggestions?? I would like to lose 10 more lbs for health purposes. I do the 16/8 fast.

It's meant for short term weight loss, thereafter you have to consider long-term lifelong changes and consistency with occasional periods of intermittent fasting. Otherwise your body adapts and will hold onto fat

Look into how it works for an explanation as to why you stopped losing weight. Its not really meant for continuing to lose weight especially long term

A doctor that I work with got me to do it. I did it for a month and I lost but I’m on medication now that requires me to eat in the morning with taking my medication. I loved it! I saw instant results but I assume it’s not the best method and probably isn’t for everyone, including me lol

Tried it didnt work for me. I hear it isnt the best for woman still having periods but after menopause its fantastic for woman

I only lasted a week, I tend to have very low blood sugar and just kept getting sick with not eating for so long- my mom sticks with it most of the time and she really enjoys it, she has lost a little weight but I think she mainly likes that it curbs the late night snacking that causes her a lot of issues

I did it in the past. Wasn’t trying to lose weight with it, though, and I did not lose weight. I enjoyed the increased energy I got with it. I hope to get back into it when my kids go back to daycare.

Works like a charm for me! The weight just falls off. I do one meal a day when I want to lose weight. Any more than that and my body just maintains.

Im doing intermittent fasting and omad.  Your body has adjusted to the caloric intake of being in a deficit. I say raise your caloric intake for a week to maintainence and then return to deficit. Maybe even consider the zigzag diet where u eat different amounts of calories so your body doesnt adjust to being in a deficiet.
