Vegan period?

angel

I’ve been eating vegan for almost a couple months now. And my last period was just spotting (June 24 - July 5)

I brushed it off because my diet changed, and I have an ovarian cyst so i figured that may have something to do with it? But now it’s been almost 6 weeks since my last period. (the last one didn’t come late)

I had unprotected sex in between all this, so I’m not sure what it could be? I also had trouble conceiving before, I don’t know if my diet changed that.

I don’t have health insurance since I’ve gotten too old to be on my moms, so doctors visits aren’t really a thing for me unless it’s necessary.

And I’ve been moving into my new place for the past couple weeks so it hasn’t been a priority of mine.

Has anyone else’s diet changes effected their period in a similar way? Should I take this seriously or should I continue to wait ?

Take a pregnancy test.

Yes, you may not be eating enough or the right nutrients. Yes other issues can effect that, but dietary changes also can. When I ate restrictive vegan diets, I lost my period for like half a year total. I did hclf & vegan keto. Both. I don't recommend restrictive vegan diets, eat all your macros always, and please try to make sure you are eating enough.Vegan diets can be healthy (I eat mostly vegan now, but not restrictive at all & know how to eat for my body to be happy.)

You're probably not eating enough. Don't eat the junk food vegan stuff do a whole foods vegan diet and don't restrict calories eat until you're full if you don't feel satisfied even when full eat a handful of nuts or an avocado.

My period reduced down on symptoms, heaviness and days from 7 to 5. I would take a test just to make sure.
