Please don’t judge me I was Ignorant at the time:
Back in December 2020 I had a piercing done at claires (yeah I know now NOT A GOOD IDEA) and it was healing well but one night my mon accidentally hit the piercing and since then is red all the time and a little bump is starting to show. Should I take it out or what should I do. I don’t have much knowledge about piercing 😅

Go to a professional piercer and get new jewelry put in and have them clean it. I’ve used gold dawn diluted in water and then a sea salt spray afterwards. MAKE SURE TO KEEP IT DRY DRY!!!

I would try to get a different earring for it. Butterfly backs are not good for cartilage piercings because the harbor bacteria. I would try to get to get a titanium piecing for it with a flat backing! Then clean it out with sterile saline 3 times a day. Or even crush up a ibuprofen pill into a paste with water and apply it to it.

Wash it with sterile saline twice a day. I would not put anything but saline on a cartilage piercing. Also make sure you are not getting your hair tangled on it, getting any hair products on it, getting shirts caught on it, sleeping on it, etc. You want to bother it and move it as little as possible. Also make sure the back isn’t on too tight, you don’t want any pressure on the bump you need to give your ear space to swell and heal. Pic of what I buy for my piercings when they are fresh:
