My sons dentist appointment was supposed to be yesterday morning and I couldn’t get up since I’m 9 months pregnant and was in labor pains. the dr/dentist understood it is close to my induction so to not expose my self and my son(since he was not feeling well either) I decided to was best to reschedule they have never given me trouble on rescheduling but this receptionist decided to be rude demanding I pay 50 for cancellation and didn’t understand why I was never charged before I tried to explain my situation and how I’ve never had this issue (and how it’s unfair I have to pay now after how many times they last minute rescheduled on me)but she would talk over me and told me she was to busy to talk to me and hung up on me my mom called since she has authorization to my sons account and was going to take him in for me but this lady said she didn’t need to talk to my mom since she was not my sons mom and kept hanging up on her but my mom was persistent till. I called her back and asked to speak with her manger (I hate doing that and being a Karen.) since she would not let me get information on how I can pay the fee or her name or a manager she would not let me even speak to someone else to Deescalate the situation and threaten to report me to my insurance for harassment then says she will talk to the doctor and she and the doctor would call me back later that day but ends up calling me as the doctor walks out the office sending me a message instead of a call tomorrow meanwhile I started contractions my body temp went up and my blood pressure went up. I almost fainted I had to rush to the hospital till now I’m getting home trying to calm my 2 year old after having a scare like that I hate being a Karen here but I needed to rant and I’m puzzled on what to do now my doctors told me not to worry about this till after I give birth in a week but my son needs his check up but they warned me about my stress level due to a lot on my plate which is a whole different story but let’s sum it up with I take happy pill and they have to pick up my dosage after this situation

(Note:I understand that she was busy because of the summer rush with all the kids going back to school but she could have been more professional about this and I feel bad like I over reacted)
