TW assault by school players.. How could this have happened?

For this case I’m giving a severe trigger warning!!

I wanted to drop this case here. I don’t remember this coming up in CC at all so I wanted to bring this up.

This took place with football players and I’m trying to understand how could this have happened with absolutely no intervention by any personnel.

This particular case is the most upsetting because this should not have happened at all. There should have been no place for this. No access.

So I wanted to ask how do schools provide safety that things like will never happen again?! I know we harp on schools a ton but because we sent our children there safety is beyond expected! (After consequences of the case)

While I understand this took place on a school related trip.
