What would you do?

Question

I work four days a week. My in laws and my dad watch my kids while I’m at work. They are all retired. My in laws keep taking at least a vacation once a month. My dad and his girlfriend aren’t vaccinated and they won’t unless absolutely mandatory. My in laws are vaccinated. 
My in laws are traveling to out of state to Florida, on multiple occasions. I am freaking out. My husband and I are vaccinated but no one on my side is vaccinated.  This whole COVID, is making my anxiety worse. 
What would you all do?

Honestly I'd probably still have my in laws and dad watch him.

You can not force others to take the vaccine. You can’t stop living your life out of fear of getting the virus. There’s not a guarantee that if you all got it that you wouldn’t be able to fight it like any other virus. There are so many sicknesses, diseases or things that could happen to you, but you aren’t as worried about it because it isn’t all over social media’s making it sound so scary...

This is really tough! I agree with others that having your unvaccinated dad watch them is probably safer than daycare. But on the other hand maybe withholding the grandkids would encourage them to get the vaccine? One of my coworkers died from the delta variant, it's no joke 😞
Sorry you're having to weigh all these factors. It's so hard.

Yea I wouldn’t allow them around my kids. Pediatric hospitalizations have increased 5 fold in the last month down south.  That’s just me tho 🤷🏻‍♀️

You’re very lucky to have that kind of help watching your little boy. Your other options are what…daycare or nanny? I can tell you neither are better than time spent with family whether vaccinated or not. My daughter had to start daycare right around her 2nd birthday and just finally is starting to not be sick every weekend. Kids are nasty little germ filled creatures! So…maybe a nanny would be better but the big pool of nanny’s are going to be young adults most likely and I don’t know if I’d really trust their choices with whom they gather and whether they take Covid as seriously as you do or would like them to.
