Frustrated Momma

I've had two miscarriages previously, one was a chemical at 6 weeks and the other was a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks in 2019.

I'm currently pregnant at 6 weeks with my rainbow.

When I confirmed my pregnancy with my provider I let them know I was nervous because I'm higher risk having had previous miscarriages and they said there was absolutely nothing that they could do for me. So they scheduled my first prenatal appointment for 4 weeks out from when I confirmed with them. I have my first ultrasound this Wednesdays at the hospital to check up on the pregnancy.

I called today to ask if I could have my blood work done to check my thyroid and HCG levels (thyroid issues run on my mother and father's side of the family) and let them know once again that I am high risk. I was very rudely told NO and promptly hung up on. So now I'm waiting to hear back from another obgyn office to switch my prenatal care provider, and I've started spiking a low grade fever (99.2-100.2)

I'm so stressed out and concerned about having another miscarriage and I'm devastated my provider won't listen to me or just schedule the dang blood draw. I don't even know what to do 😭😭😭
