Help! Asthma?

Anyone had a YOUNG toddler diagnosed with asthma? My daughter is 14 months and we have been dealing with a chronic cough that has been progressing for some time. We’ve eliminated RSV, whooping cough, pneumonia etc. She coughs continuously but has no cold or virus. She tends to become raspy/wheezy and wakes ALL NIGHT LONG from coughing. Up until a couple of months ago when the cough first showed up she was sleeping 10 hours straight though the night. We’ve taken her to the doctor four times in the past month and they haven’t brought up asthma at all. My husband had extreme childhood asthma and my brother had it from the time he was a toddler. Curious if anyone had any experience with it with their young toddlers and could give me any insight on symptoms/treatment. We will be taking her to the pediatrician AGAIN but want to be prepared to advocate for an actual solution.
