Period help please

So.. I forgot to skip my period and I may be seeing my boyfriend this weekend who I haven't seen in months ! My periods already started and usually finishes before the weekend but I want be safer then sorry. Is their anyway to make my period end sooner !  What if I start taking the hormone pills early ?
