Is it bad that I don’t want to pray with my partner?

Hey sisters!

So basically my partner suggested that we started praying together at night. At first I didn’t mind but I wasn’t keen cos I’m used to praying alone but thought I’d try.

We do live in a long distance relationship, so we don’t normally pray together at night.

We kind of fell off cos we were going through things and I told him I’d rather pray alone.

Now things are kinda repaired we’ve started again but when he prays I don’t feel anything and when it’s my turn to pray I’m not the most eager. It feels forced, I’d rather pray alone for US until we’re actually together in the physical and it shouldn’t feel like a chore.

I don’t want to pray with him because it’s not coming from the heart in comparison to when I pray alone and I don’t feel anything spiritually when he prays for us.

Would I be wrong to ask for us to stop praying together virtually?
