In which order..

I want to start a 2 month certificate program but I also want to return to college. I think it’s better if I complete the program first, start working, and then return to college for the remaining 3 semesters ( like 1 1/2 years) I have left. My mother thinks I should do both the certificate program and college at the same time, but I don’t want that. I also wouldn’t have time for a job and I’m trying to save for a car so a job is needed. Which order makes more sense to you guys?
