Was 1st or 2nd labor easier?

I had a very easy labor with my first born. I went to be induced at 39 weeks and the pill they put in your cervix to soften it ended up putting me in labor so I was only in labor for 5 hours and pushed for about 45 minutes. I’m very nervous that this time won’t be as easy since my first went so smoothly and easy 😩 please tell your experiences !

My first labor was easy and fast like yours. My second labor was even faster and easier 😂 hoping my third is the same but don’t know if I want much faster because that’s scares me lol

My second labor/delivery was so much faster and easier, but it was a longer recovery… probably due to also caring for a toddler in addition to a newborn.  It took longer to feel “normal” in my lower abdomen.

First is usually the one you labor the longest with, it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours. I’d say you’ll probably have a smooth and quick delivery assuming no unexpected hurdles.

Second was soooo much faster/easier. Recovery was easier and better too!

My second was faster and easier! With my first, contractions started early Thursday morning, I didn’t have her until 1 am Saturday. My second, water broke Thursday morning, she was here by 1 pm, I pushed once 🙌🏼
