My manager is being biased, PLEASE READ.
Okay, so I don’t know what to do. My manager has a daughter and she works at the place that I work, her daughter constantly calls in sick and gets away with it because of course, her mother is the manager. I want to report it to the person who owns the workplace, but I’m worried if my manager starts treating me different. No one else gets away with it apart from her, and we are always being harassed to cover her shifts. We now have a log book of who calls in sick so they get sacked or get their shifts taken from them and it goes to the actual owner but of course she doesn’t log it down, and if someone logs it down she will cross it out, or say she “swapped shifts” but she doesn’t. I just need advice on what to do, I’m a new starter and I have been asked to cover many of her shifts already and I’m already fed up with it, I’m disappointed because this happened at my old job and I was so exited for this to be a new start for me, but it’s just getting stressful.
