In need of help/advice!

Not sure if this is a medical thing but my son seems to always wake up 3-4times at night ever since he was born. I’ve tried sleep training him. Sometimes it would work but he would figure it out and try to crawl in my bed. I have an infant 8months old that sleeps in the crib in my room

and currently 6months pregnant. I’m not trying have all these kids crawl up in my bed late at night. My LO is getting smarter and smarter, everytime he wakes up, I’ll walk him to bed and it’s never a problem putting him back to sleep, but he just seems to have a problem staying asleep. (I think it’s because he doesn’t like to wake up alone, but I’m also not sure why he still wakes up so many times) I’ve cut his snack &TV time before bed earlier than usual, he only takes 1 nap a day, and I’ve already tried to cut that nap out of his day, but he just seemed to want to sleep earlier than usual so I put him back on his nap time a day at 4:00PM and his nap time only last an hr. He also takes a bath 1-2hrs before bed. I’m not sure if I should mention this to his pediatrician, because I feel like if I do, they would only tell me “it’s normal, or to try and “sleep train him””. (I’ve been trying to sleep train him since he got off the every2hr bottle feed, literally when he was only 7-8months old) so I’ve definitely ran out of ideas!
