Pylectasis?

Hey mommy’s, we are at the finish line!
My sweet girl has an enlarged kidney that won’t go down. The right kidney normalized but the left is being stubborn.
Does anyone have experience with this? 
When was your baby born, any complications etc?
I don’t know anyone that experienced this and I don’t know what to expect.

My daughter has this and it did not go away before delivery. But her ultrasound after birth they were back to normal and there were no concerns. My mfm had told me like 90-% of the time it goes away after birth. It’s one of the most commonly diagnosed “problem” during the anatomy scan.

My son had extra fluid in one of his kidneys at my 20 week anatomy scan. I was so worried since he is my 3rd and I’ve never had this pop up with my first two pregnancy’s. Multiple doctors I have spoken to said it’s VERY common and that it will most likely correct itself during your pregnancy or right after your baby is born.

My baby girl has this in her right kidney but her left kidney is fine.
My consultant said as long as she is now growing well, her amniotic fluid is good (showing that the healthy kidney is functioning and flushing through urine) then it can be treatable after birth.
Likely my baby will have antibiotics to prevent infection post birth and enlarged kidney will be monitored.
It causes me so much anxiety but im sure our little babies are strong enough to get through!💗
