Opinions. 😤

We were planning on having our baby shower on the 28th of this month. We’ve had that planned since the 1st of this month. Literally 2 days ago my husbands sister is deciding instead of getting married on her set wedding date -February 22nd 2022- that she wants to have a small court wedding & a barbecue afterwards on the 27th of this month & still have the reception on the planned date next year. Now my husbands mom wants to cancel our baby shower because “she won’t have enough time to cook food when she gets back” & reschedule it. His sister wasn’t planning on coming to our baby shower anyways but wants us to come to her wedding thingy. Also, his mom canceled coming to my husbands brothers birthday party tonight because she had to work today to get off on his sisters wedding day.

I don’t know how to feel honestly because not a lot of people are coming to the baby shower, only a few people.. but I’m salty because we had this planned first & now she wants us to cancel to go to something that came up super last minute. Not sure if we should cancel or just tell her if she can come that’s great but if not oh we’ll 😬
