What do I say back?!

I had this best friend and I use to hangout with her and her cousin a lot. Her cousin and I started becoming friends but would only hangout when she was visiting my best friend since she lived a couple hours away. Anyways, me and my best friend stopped being friends because I didn’t like the way she treated me and spoke to me. Also, she started dating this really good guy and started cheating on him and I just didn’t want to be a part of that. She never told him and they’re still together. I told her we couldn’t be friends because I didn’t respect her choices anymore. That was about a month ago and now her cousin just text me saying “hey what happened between you and my cousin” should I respond and just tell her we grew apart and had our differences or should I just not even respond? Should I say something else?
