3 day old baby submerged umbilical cord in poop
My baby had a major blow out and poop is all inside her umbilical cord, which has not fallen off yet obviously. What on earth do I do? If I clean it, it’s going to get very wet, I’ve cleaned it off as best as I could until I decide whether to submerge her in water or not. I don’t want her to get an infection either if poop stays in it too long!
