Baby's upset tummy

My baby (8wks) has been incredibly fussy the last day and a half or so, like screaming fits, he looks to be in pain, he's very very gassy, hasn't been able to sleep, excessively squirmy, I know it's his stomach bothering him, he is exclusively breastfed, he latches really well, he doesn't over eat, and I always always always burp him afterward. My stomach has also been upset the last day or so, so was it whatever I ate that upset my stomach, ALSO upsetting baby's stomach?? I've been giving him the gripe water and gas drops and they do seem to help for a little bit but once his belly starts bubbling again, he cries his little heart out. We've been doing massages, I've given him a nice warm bath and rubbed him down with calming lotion to try to help him relax his little body, I feel so helpless right now and it's so incredibly frustrating to see my LO in pain and all I can do has not been enough
