Not gaining weight in pregnancy?! 😔

Hi ladies
I just had a doctor's appointment and was informed I have not gained any weight at all during my pregnancy. I am 18weeks and 2 days. My doctor ran some tests , now I'm just waiting for results. Has this happened to anyone? What did you do to gain weight ? Trying not to freak out.

I didnt gain weight either. From barely having appetite and puking i think its normal. Im 18weeks today and my appetite has incread this past week or 2 so im not worried.

I’m 18 w 3 d and I lost 10 lbs at the start of my pregnancy. (Which I also did with my last except with that one I lost 18 lbs) and I’ve only gained 2 lbs back so I’m still smaller than before I got pregnant. 🤷🏽‍♀️ drs haven’t said anything about concern.

I lost weight and just recently started gaining some weight I’m 21 weeks!

I’ve gained 5lbs so far this pregnancy and during my last pregnancy, I only gained 10lbs the entire pregnancy. My OB wasn’t concerned as I’m a small/petite person. Just make sure you’re eating healthy and when you’re hungry. And hydrate 😊

I always (3 kids) lose weight the first 20 weeks. I call it my “pregnancy metabolism” lol. Then it levels off and I start to gain. Shouldn’t be anything to be alarmed about. I never even had a doctor run tests. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My cousin wasn't gaining at for quite a while, even though she looked huge due to being so tiny before hand. She was so sick they had to hospitalized with an IV at 14weeks. After that she was on antineausea, but still not gaining. She forced herself to eat and ate a lot of foods that you'd normally leave alone, i.e. high fat and a lot of carbs. If you're worried about your figure afterwards, don't because that will only make it harder to gain. 
I have the exact opposite problem and have to watch what I eat so I don't gain too much, so I hope that helps.

I didn’t gain weight until about 20 weeks with my first. Gained 35 lbs in the second half. I wouldn’t worry!

I lose weight in the first half of my pregnancies it seems. I have an appointment today to see if I've started gaining with this baby. With my first I lost 20 lbs in 10 weeks, she made me so sick every day. With him, I'm just nauseous all day and didn't eat much solid food. My dr recommend 2 bottles of Ensure daily as tolerated, until a time that I could introduce more solid foods. I still like to drink it for my Breakfasts because it's easy on my stomach, but I haven't thrown up any food in a month or more now, if I do get sick it's stomach acid that comes up. My midwife with my daughter never showed any concern because she was growing on track even if I wasnt on track myself. This dr knows I had trouble with her and then saw it for herself now and asked "are you really this sick?" Because I already had a prescription for Zofran, it kept me from getting sick for a few weeks but didn't stop the weight loss. I know its not totally the same, but they're just going to want to make sure little one is growing at a good rate.

I agree no need to freak out yet. I’m 17+2 and haven’t gained anything yet either. With my first I remember gaining nothing then suddenly gaining a lot - it’s not always a smooth consistent gain!
