Taking the paci away!!

My LO is 21 months old and we’re taking the paci away because her top tooth is starting to shift and her dentist said it would straighten out when we took the paci away! I cut the tip of the paci and gave it to her and she said nasty and we threw in the trash together! When I put her to bed she cried for 1 1/2 (me going back and forth in there of course) until finally going to sleep around 10. She then woke back up around 11:30 and now it’s 12:15 am and she’s still crying! This mama is so tired and really wants to give in and give the paci back to her, but I know the longer I wait to take it away the harder it’ll be. I guess I just need some encouragement, this is breaking this mama’s heart!! 🥺
