When will you tell your family & friends?

Hi ladies,
​Have you thought about when you'll tell your family & friends, once that BFP comes? Will you tell them right away, or wait until you hit a certain milestone (ie. Fetal heartbeat)? 
​Any fun ideas on how to tell them?

I'm going to tell my immediate family after the first doctors appointment. DH's family will find out after 1st trimester because my mother in law blabs everything to everyone!! Haha

I think I would tell our parents right away and maybe a couple really close friends. I used to think i would wait but then saw a really good point. If I were to MC then I would want the support system of our parents and closest friends. The biggest reason is that I would be too excited to keep it between my DH and I!

Haven't told family or friends. My sister is getting married next weekend and I am debating if I should tell her directly ahead of time or if I should wait and hope no one questions why I don't drink (there is the rehearsal dinner, bar after, champagne as we get our hair done, and then wedding reception). I'm a bad liar. Normally she'd be the first person I'd tell, but I don't want to take any of the excitement off of her. At the same time, our relationship is in a very good place and I think she'd appreciate being the first to know. We hope to tell our parents the following weekend (6 weeks). Thoughts?

I would be so excited I would want to tell them right away however DH wants to wait for a little while to make sure it's viable .... He has such a big family however it's going to be hard!!! Oh man I can't wait!!!

I am busting to tell! I told my business partner because she is moving and was trying to get rid of a stroller, travel play pen and a crib... I couldn't pass grabbing those from her. DH doesn't want me to tell anyone till after our apt on the 9th when we see a dr for the first time and supposed to get u/s with heartbeat. I did secretly tell my cousin ( I am a bridesmaid in her wedding next summer so needed to tell her why I couldn't nail down my exact travel date to fly home for it yet) and one of my BFF since she just had twins and can answer so many questions. I told them both not to let on to DH... Can he really expect for me not to tell anyone for 3 weeks! He is crazy!
