How did you know you were done having kids?

I have always wanted 2-3 kids. My husband has always been dead set on 2. We have two boys ages 3 years old and 3 months. My husband ALREADY scheduled a vasectomy appointment for next month which I am not happy about. I keep going back and forth- some days I am done with two and other days I can’t help but want just one more. So how did you guys know you were done?

I always thought I’d be done after two. A week after my second was born I told my husband I don’t think we’re done…
Now I’m pregnant with number three and am SO ready for my husband to make his appointment. I can’t be this sick again and try to take care of three kids at a time. It’s time for us to be done. If we want more kids, we can adopt later.

Before we had our second, we discussed it. I wanted 4 and he wanted 2. We talked about our reasons and he said his main reason was money. He was afraid of not having enough to support more than 2 and me having to be a SAHM.. I listened and shared my thoughts on 4. And he actually changed his mind to want 3! Once you hit 4 its so different but for now 3 is agreed upon. I'm saddened for you that your hubby wouldn't make sure you're both 100% on board but has he openly shared his reasoning with you. I'm interested to see what other people comment !

Your husband has always been dead set on two and you have two. And it seems he means it. It sound a like something you have been aware off and then that's how you know you're done. He is done.
If you're not done you're free to leave and find another, but it very much sounds like he is and it isn't up for discussion 🤷🏻‍♀️

Its not advisable for him to fix himself so soon, but it can be reversed at least.
He should wait 2 years because he might get buyers remorse.
