Is it okay to sleep shirtless and just in your underwear around your children while they grow up? I hate sleeping in pants and a shirt now since I got married due to it being so hot with my husband. Young children baby to 6 years old

I don't like any clothes while I sleep.. so I understand however our kids knows too knock before entering into our room and they know they need a yes or no BEFORE entering our room. So I guess it depends on how your bringing up your children and if your teaching them boundaries. And our girls are 9 years old.

How old are your kids? I mean, the body is a beautiful natural thing. But if my 14 year old wanders into my room, I wouldn't feel comfortable. That's just me.  But my toddler,  who cares?! Haha. Maybe I'm odd that way. But I wpild wear a light tank or bralette personally. But at the end of the day, it's what you're comfortable with. Older kids, I'd say no. Mainly cause THEY likely don't wanna see mommy's titties (again, not that there is anything wrong with that). I sleep in my husband's undershirt (tank tops) and a thong or underwear. I also never know if I have to get up to let the dog out or God forbid something happens and we have to rush out of the house. You don't often have time to get dressed. Lol (comes down to the fact of always wearing clean underwear cause you never know when you may be in an accident and you always want clean skivvy on LOL)

I’d say it depends on your kids and their age. If they start coming in your room as they got older during the night, I’d be more comfortable in a tank at least. If they don’t come to you and you get up before they come in, I’d just keep a shirt close by to Put on quickly.

I wouldn't knowingly expose my teenage child to my breasts, but I would teach my kids to knock on a closed door before they reached teenage years, lol. And I wouldn't be concerned about a toddler seeing anything. So yes, I'd be ok sleeping topless with children in the house. ...People who are concerned about  needing to run outside in an emergency, I can understand, but it seems a little odd to me to not sleep topless just because there are children in the house. Do these people also not have sex when children are in the house? I dunno, that's weird to me but just like in a, "I don't get it way," no judgement.
