AITA? Dating safe measures = "interview"

Thoughts from others on this...I've gone back into the dating scene and I'm quite upfront about what I'm looking for (like no hookups or FWBs, friends or more only). To be safe and also not waste anyone's time, I only meet up with guys for late night dinner or dates AFTER I've talked with them on the phone and met up for coffee or lunch first (50-50 unless the guy is adamant to pay for both or at times, I go ahead and pay for both of us). 
It's worked out great so far - no one's time is wasted, removes awkwardness, and most importantly, by the time a late night meet occurs, I feel comfortable and safe. But I've had some guys react quite negatively, almost offended by saying equating it to an "interview" and even mansplaining how it "sterilizes the vibe". Example shared in the convo screenshot. AITA?

It would only kill the vibe for someone looking for something casual. Anyone looking for something serious or meaningful would have zero issue with getting to know each other a bit before a date. For anyone meeting people from online can be scary it's always a good idea to take precautions like you are so just ignore that guy your not doing anything wrong

I think your standards are fine but u just want to ease up with your approach. You come across slightly uptight which can repell some people. But ultimately if a man is in your lane …. and of the quality and standard your looking for … he will honor your request and more than likely even have that standard for hiself. Im not a drinker and dont do clubs or lounges so instantly i would knownhe not for me because i dont really want a person who drinks tbh. 
      I would say ease up…. And understand most of dating is about Observing a person and how they maneuver so u get a sense of who they are and wether they may be compatible with u.
