Low libido? On BC

I have had the IUD implanted in me for about over a year now and it’s been great so far with not worrying about my period and the cramps I get on my period BUT!!!!!!!!…

Since then I haven’t had been wanting to have sex. I just can’t. I’m too sleepy or I’m “lazy” or just plain and simply not. in. the. mood! It saddens me because our sex life has been affecting our romantic life as if I don’t find him attractive anymore🥺but I do. I really do🥺 I’ve also been Uber sensitive and emotional (depressed) and need more romance to even get in the mood. Does this happen to most of you women? I’m so close to calling the doctor to get it removed but anyone who’s had this implanted knows how HORRIBLE it felt to get it in..I can only imagine the other way around. Is there something else I can do or you suggest to get my energy and libido back without having to take this out before I made that decision or is removing it the the only option?
