Scheduled Csection?

I just found out I am pregnant with baby #2. I had a c section with baby #1 which means I'm going to have a scheduled one this time around. My Q is how far before "due date" do they schedule it for? A week? A month? On the day?

In US its usually 2 wks before your due date.. I had one  with my son.. he was early by 7 wks so with my daughter it wqs scheduled.. had her 38wk4d her due date was nov 4-8... they could make their mind uo ob which date

I would say a week before that's what my sister did and that worked out well

Here in UK they normally do it about 37-39 weeks as baby full term from 37weeks. Not sure about anywhere else though sorry
