Relationships would probably be a lot easier if we upfront were just honest about our shortcomings, toxic behaviors and triggers/fears. But that very rarely happens. And I would bet it’s even more rare that a cheater would offer up that info about themselves.

I admitted it to my husband. I was definitely a cheater when I was younger. I just didn't feel a super connection with a person and didn't want to hurt their feelings by leaving them. I cheated all the time. I was a total piece of shit back in the day. I told my husband when I met him and also let him no I'm mature about things now. If I'm not happy I rather leave a person than cheat. We have an agreement if either of us don't see things working out we will let each other know first. That way we can split before anything leads to cheating.  Some people change and others don't. It's a chance you take.

What happened in the past isn’t anything to do with the future. If someone wants to admit to past cheating on partners thats up to them.

I don't think there is much utility in expecting someone who likes you to tell you that? 
I mean, if they have a record of dishonesty, they may not volunteer the info. 
I think it would be nice if he told her, but I don't even believe there's an obligation there, particularly if she doesn't inquire about his past experiences or feelings about infidelity. 
If he was dishonest about his past when asked, I think that's an issue.

Unfortunately no one is perfect, everyone had a past, life existed before you and if things don’t work out it will exist after you. And women need to realize that everyone has a past before they met you. My current partner was an athlete in high school and in college so obviously he was popular with the ladies, he’s told me he’s been with over 50 women, and I’m fine with that, do you wanna know why, it’s because he knows what he’s doing because of that, he learn to control his penis, he can hold his climax he can go five rounds with me back to back with no refractory period in between, if he gets oral sex, it’s a different type of sensation and he can only do that and that is it, does it bother me or do I ask who the women were, absolute not. If he wants to share that with me, that is his decision, do I feel insecure about the other women, absolutely not, I have a past as well, he knows, I may look sweet and innocent, but I am far from that. He knows I was a stripper, he knows I was a dominatrix, he knows I’ve probably given oral sex and hand jobs to well over 50 men, actual sexual partners he’s my number seven. He knows my trauma from childhood, he knows I was sexually abused, my father died, I never got love attention or affection at home and I was looking for love in all the wrong places, he knows my history of abuse, self harm, eating disorders, he knows everything, I have nothing to hide, my past isn’t who I am, but it’s made me who I am now. I stop tolerating bullshit, had I not been through bullshit, I wouldn’t be a strong as I am. He loves that I don’t tolerate bullshit and that I will call him out, if he’s not making the effort, he knows I will go radio silent, he knows I will not chase after him, he knows I will match his effort, if he doesn’t make the effort I’m not chasing after him and he knows that from day one. When he doesn’t hear from me a day or two, he’ll send me a little emoji of an egg, because he knows the egg does not chase the sperm. And he knows he’s not living up to his end of the bargain. If it makes you uncomfortable, then don’t go there, if it makes you insecure, then don’t go there, you are not obligated to stay or be with anyone, and that goes for everything, whether you have children together guilt, manipulation, financially, you have other options, somebody who gaslights you or emotionally abuses you passive aggressive, narcissism, etc. why be miserable. You are better off alone than a bad company that doesn’t appreciate your deserve you or respect you. What you tolerate will only get worse, if it gives you a bad feeling to be with someone who’s been with a lot of women, or tells you he has a history of cheating, he may very well do the same with you, but not everyone is honest, everyone puts on their best face in the beginning, they charm you and suck you in and get you emotionally attached and then slowly but surely you start to see the real them when situations arise, takes a good year to get to know someone and even then they can surprise you, I have a client who has five children with a man, he’s a long distance truck driver and he kept going to Ohio for some reason quite often, it turned out he had a whole other family with a relationship and children with another woman there and was living with her there as well. Like I said you never know someone. But like I said if your gut is telling you that this is a bad situation for you, then don’t be with him.￼￼￼￼￼
