Help!!

Okay so there is this really guy look guy that I have be cursing on for like ever. Not sure why anymore tbh he doesn’t give me any attention on social media. Every time I see him is always at a social event. He always stares at me but never says anything. Guys always approach me and he notices and stares at me and makes it really awkward because he is mad or jealous. I haven’t been giving other guys a chance. We also have mutual friendship groups so it is likely we will sometime be at the same events. At this point other people probs notice the awkwardness. He sometimes try’s to say hello but I don’t like small talk so I sometimes try to avoid him. He is always checking me out, One of mates told me that maybe someone told him that I liked him 🤦‍♀️ Should I approach him and talk to him about the awareness because it is so uncomfortable. I don’t want to have any feelings for his anymore, but is not working 💔😢
