Am I being dumb?

Tell me if I'm being dumb here but I'm annoyed because my boyfriend won't accept me as his girlfriend on Facebook 😂 yes we're adults. I put him as my partner and he hasn't accepted it, he keeps making up excuses of why he can't do it like Facebook is not working properly and he's been saying this for months. He's added his sisters and cousins to it since so I know it's working if you know what I mean. It's not like it's a new relationship, we've been together for a long time. Were Facebook friends but he won't add me as a partner so I'm thinking he's either embarrassed by me or he's cheated at some point and this would cause problems. He's such a social media guy so it's not that he's not into that stuff, he will once in a blue moon post a picture of me but he never writes anything that would even indicate that we are a couple.
