Bleeding and cramping 2nd trimester

Hi ladies! (TW:blood)

Yesterday when I got back from running errands I went to the restroom just to pee and I wasn’t straining on the toilet or anything but when I got up I noticed a large amount of bright red blood. It took a while to find out where it was coming from but I figured out it was coming from my rectum.

It reduced to just spotting from my rectum but strangely I haven’t been constipated, no itching, and no pain down there. Only thing I’ve been having here recently is lots of cramping ever since my second trimester started (I am 27 weeks now).

Last night I also woke up to intense cramping (contraction or period like pains) and felt like I could cry it hurt so bad. I tried changing positions but nothing would. It was just constant tightening and cramping pain. I’ve never experienced any of this with my first daughter and these two will be 18 months apart. Can anyone please help me with what this might be? 😓
