Anyone ttc over 200 lbs?

Question

Tell me your height and weight and if you are trying to lose weight. Do you think weight has anything to do with ttc?

I just recently hit 200 lbs and have an appointment with my doctor soon to talk but I was just wondering how my fellow ttcers feel about their weight and their ability to conceive?  [I'm 5'3. I have a pretty regular cycle and I know I ovulate I recently miscarried and earlier in the year I had a chemical pregnancy.]

I have been ttc for just over 2yrs & have maintained a weight of about 250ibs for the last several years. I am barely 5"1 so I'm very overweight. I've tried losing but nothing works & with bad knees it's hard to be active but that beside the point I don't really see how weight for someone in the 200ib range should affect ttc but I only say this because I've seen women much heavier conceive easy & happy healthy pregnancies though the catch is that not everyone is the same.

I'm JUST over and 5' 4". I've had two miscarriages since we started TTC #1 in feb and the specialist I'm now under has said that miscarriage is linked to high BMI. I'll have to lose weight anyway to be considered for IVF so that means I'm using my gym membership now!!!

I'm 5'8  210lbs. I think it also had a lot to do with how the weight is distributed throughout the body. Also height is a factor as well.

I'm in the other end of the spectrum but I've been told that weight is a factor... mainly BMI.

I am 5'3 and weight 152 lbs, my doctor told me if I lose 7 lbs it would make a big difference. It is really hard though, good luck to you when you go to your appointment. :)

I am overweight. I ovulate every month. I am on meds for thyroid disease. I am 5'5" and 215, I have an active job as a cna I have walked 10000 steps in a shift and that is quite a dependable number. I am 41 and have had 3 pregnancies never miscarried. I am currently working on getting my meds reworked to help we with the weight loss although my sugar, cholesterol,blood pressure and iron are good numbers.

I'm 5'5 232lbs. I believe weight is a factor in November of last year I miscarried at 6 weeks. I was walking a lot during that time and believed that helped. I recently lost 12lbs trying to see if that helps this time.

I'm 5'9 & 344lbs. I don't think weight has anything to do with TTC. I had 2 beautiful girls. One is 4 I chose to give her to a loving couple. My other is forever 7 months 17 days.

5'3" & 220lb. Trying to lose weight to fit in my wedding dress by 11/20/14 & hopefully it will make ttc easier
