Anyone have Magnesium sulfate for preeclampsia?

Wondering about magnesium sulfate during labor for preeclampsia? Being induced because of preeclampsia and wondering how magnesium sulfate went for other mamas.

I had it with my first pregnancy bc of pre-eclampsia too. It makes your feel miserable, drowsy, etc... Hopefully you won't need to be on it for long. My induction took two days and I think I was on that drip for 3 days.

When they gave me it in the hospital it made me very drowsy. I had to be on it for almost 2 days after my emergency c-section and I swear all I did in that time was sleep.

Its burned going in and was the worst but I ended up with a emergency  c section  because of preeclampsia got severe and baby's heart dropped to 60 and I couldn't stand light or anything I felt like my eyes where gonna pop out my head and that stuff made me feel like fire ants where all over my skin

Sucks! The time I had pre-eclampsia they put me on 24 bed rest after borth due to increase risk of seizures.  Wasnt allowed to see my NICU babes until the next day.

I had to do the drip for 48 hours but it was after I had the baby.
