True labor?

Im currently 39w+5 days. 
I was 1cm dilated, 50% effaced on my 38w+6days appt. 
I started put contraction timer app after few times of contraction/cramps bothering me. Its my first baby and not sure if I’m having false labor or true labor? 
28min frequency, i was taking shower at that point and didn’t check.

If this is your first, then follow the 511 rule. Five minutes apart, each contraction lasting a minute, and goes on for at least an hour. I was told if it isn’t your first, come in when they are 7-10 minutes apart since the second (or third, etc) time around happens faster.

Once they are about 5 min apart, lasting 1 min for 1 hour that’s when you usually head in.

Not consistent enough to go in, but you can keep timing if you want. They’ll get closer together and more painful if it’s true labour.
