EWCM gone before +OPK?

I've been really charting for 2 cycles now and both I've noticed the same thing. Lots of ewcm for a few days with all negative OPKs. EWCM starts drying up right as OPKs start getting darker. By the time I get a peak ewcm is gone. 
Is this normal?

That is normal. Your peak fertility is 2-3 days before positive OPK. So, Egg white CM comes sooner than the OPK positive.

Normal. Ewcm leads to ovulation. You may or may not actually have ewcm on your peak lh days.

I don't have an answer but the same exact thing happened to me this month. I'm 6 days past my peak, 7 days past first positive
