Question

Please advise items for registry. I am a new mom and I wanted to make registry but I am confused what is really necessary at this point after delivery.

Everyone I know swears by this thing! 
Here’s what not to register for:
Clothes
Books
Socks/mittens
Hats
Snuggle blankets
Pacifiers
People will buy you those things anyways, especially clothes and then you will have too many.

There are two things that I did that helped me figure out our registry situation. ￼
1) I talked to other newparents in my life and found out what their top three must-have‘s were and what were some things they registered for that they never used. Interestingly all three people I discussed this with had similar recommendations for must-have‘s.
2) I used the “what to expect registry builder” (Google that phrase). This asks you questions about your lifestyle to figure out how many things you need. For example if you have a laundry machine in your home versus having to go to a laundromat how many onesies of each size do you need, etc.￼
