Antsy to hear from doctor
I had an ultrasound done and had my hormones tested since I’m in my early 30s and thinking about TTC. My periods have been very irregular recently
The ultrasound showed my uterus and ovaries are healthy but I do have multiple small follicles. My largest one is 11 mm
My hormone tests revealed very high DHEAS (524), normal testosterone, but low sex binding globulin. My blood tests did not indicate thyroid issues or glucose issues. I was healthy in everything else and have a normal BMI
My sister thinks I will be prescribed metformin but in my research that can make DHEAS higher? I don’t think I’m insulin resistant. So what other meds could I possibly be prescribed to bring back my periods and help me ovulate based on your experience?
I also really hope something will address my acne and facial hair. I have confirmed PCOS. What are your thoughts?
