Venting - Hurricane Ida

I'm 30+6 with my second pregnancy (first boy) and had my baby shower set for early October. I live in Louisiana, specifically St. Charles Parish, and have been affected by Hurricane Ida. Our house had been damaged by the high wind speeds of the storm and we have lost power, water, and AT&T services until around September 30th - estimated. We decided to cancel our baby shower as a lot of our friends and family have also been affected by the hurricane. It is what it is, but I can't lie I'm a little upset that we won't get to celebrate this baby. Not to mention having to find the money to buy everything for the baby ourselves with my partner out of work for the time being.
